Public Consultation Presentations

Community Plans
A Community Plan is a document prepared by any community for a specific area of the island. They can form supplementary planning guidance, and help planners and developers to understand and plan for what the community wants their part of the island to be like in the future. Having completed St Peter's Community Plan for the parish Local Centre this year, I am the only professional on island to have done so and am perfectly placed to help with yours.
Development Frameworks
Larger scale planning documents that set the context and site conditions to inform development in a specific area, Development Frameworks are required for complex or larger sites and, in best practice, should be carried out by an independent third party. Corbeau can assist property owners and developers with these Framework documents.
Master-Plans
One thing our island lacks is a shared vision for our future. What could development in the main centres or local centres actually look like? How tall can tall buildings be? What essential views, groups of buildings and public places need to be protected and enhanced? Master-Planning can deliver answers to these questions and, when driven by the community, can help developers and the public sector to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the community as well as being economically viable and environmentally sustainable.
