More About Me

As an Architect, I found myself enjoying the process of problem solving, often in a 3D environment, understanding the parameters of a given situation, exploring ideas and solutions, testing them against technical and regulatory requirements and honing them to a single, deliverable outcome.

Over the years I was engaged with a wide variety of commissions, which have included small residential extensions, complex building conservation, alterations to protected buildings, commercial office fit-outs, building defects analysis, psychiatric long-term care facilities, exclusive private residences and social housing schemes

(and a lot more!).

Corbeau has been born from a recognition that the value of my experience is in the bigger picture, identifying the opportunities to reshape our built environment, and in helping the public engage with that process.  It's about providing my pre-project clients with the creative and practical solutions they need, and providing the best advice I can to the public and private bodies in their interactions with the Planning Authorities.

I believe that the challenges faced by our small island communities can be overcome by acting together, with good communication driving a process of change for the benefit of all.
